It does blow plenty of air to get the grill up to temperature quickly. Easily cuts the time in half. I need to prop the fan on the platform I sit my grill on as there is no way to attach it directly due to it's size and the angle it would need to be at in order for the clip to catch. It should go onto the grill as described if different feet were sent with the grill or you purchased a stand.
Great addition to my cooker. It gets the heat up to speed. , much faster. I use it every time I cook....
