I use mine with a large Grill Dome. I have tried less expensive Amazon versions but keep coming back to the Rapidlite. I have found it does a much faster start due to the width and power. Plus I couple it with the blower and I am ready to cook in no time. It's a good idea to set a timer as extreme heat will quickly ruin it. I generally leave it plugged in for about 7 minutes. My previous one lasted about two years as it started tripping my GFI when I plugged it in.
